what happens at enkai..

zomg.. so this weekend was very trashy.. friday nite enkai was one of the messiest drunken nights ever. it started out pretty normal with a few beers here, a few speeches there.. nothing too dangerous. it was cool that a few teachers who never talk to me at school came to speak to me at enkai and practice some of their english skills, i even practiced a bit of japanese. but then hot sake came out and it was all downhill from there. good golly miss molly.. i didn't quite realise that when someone pours you sake you are sposed to finish it.. then pour for them. so id like drink one.. then they'd pour me another.. then another.. then i had trouble staying upright. I somehow ended up at a after party.. which was at another less classy izakaya. this party was a lil creepy as the school principal started getting a bit homo-erotic. he is pretty touchy-feely normally.. but when there's that much alcohol around he gets to the point where its uncomfortably too much physical contact. and definitely too much "I love you.. as an ALT".. *sweatdrop*.

I only partially recall how i got home.. but it was in someone's wife's car. needless to say, i was totally ruined the next day. luckily i had nothing particularly important to do that day cept wake up for a party at night, but that was hours away so i spent most of the day attempting to remember where i was.

nite party was at Andy's in Nakajima.. it was a standard house party with standard house party drinks. although it did include Jenga.. the drinking game version... which got a lil messy.. but after friday nite i felt like it was pretty light =p We did get in a few games of Samba de Amigo (a maracas based rhythm game) as well as trying out a bit of dance dance revolution on the dreamcast.

sunday i woke up way earlier than i should've to attempt to find some ultimate frisbee in Yabuki. being the idiot that i am i somehow managed to make a 15 min drive take like an hour cos i like drove around in a circle like 3 times. anyhoo i finally got to frisbee but like an hour late. This Yabuki team was playing a practice game vs the team from Aizu University. It was so good to finally get out and run and have a throw. but i was seriously out of shape. My first few plays included two layout Ds and two terrible throw aways. that was followed by resting a lot =p We pretty much played all day fro 9 till 5.. with an awesome lunch break including two massive nabe hot pots and some bbq and a giant dessert.

The bad news is that this was like a practice for the last tourney of the season (till next spring) gasp.. they say i can maybe play in the last tourney (in Sendai) but thats a big maybe cos i missed rego by one day! gah
